Glowing skin is a sign of good health inside out. Environmental reasons (like change of seasons), age and lack of good health contribute to unhealthy and irritated skin.

To cover the basics Ayurveda recommends loads of high water content veggies (carrots/ radish/asparagus to name a few), as well as vitamin A and C loaded fruits (oranges/ blueberries) as antioxidants promote and protect collagen giving skin a radiant glow.
Sweating out the toxins via yoga and exercise on regular basis is also recommended. Face massages with any warm essential oils will help for healthy circulation.
If nothing else, stay hydrated. breathe. meditate. This is sure to work for all skin types!
For dry skin:
1. Massage your face with clarified butter (ghee) and almond oil before going to bed. Wash it off with tepid water the next morning
2. Every household should have an aloe vera plant as it has multi medicinal uses. Fresh aloe gel/juice when applied leaves the skin radiant.
3. While honey moisturizes and soothes dry skin it also has anti aging properties. Cut a lemon or a lime into one1/2. Add a few drops of honey directly and massage gently onto your face in circular motions. Wash it off after 15 minutes.
4. Avoid sun exposure.
For oily skin:
1. Add egg white to a few drops of honey and apply as a face mask and wash it off after 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Grind mint leaves in lemon juice and apply as a face mask for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it with tepid water.
3. Grind cucumber and apply as a cooling mask. Wash it after 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Drink warm water with lemon juice in it as often as you can to flush out the toxins.
For all skin types:
1. For moisturizing Add equal quantities of milk/glycerin and rose water. Apply overnight and wash it off in the morning.
2. Make a paste of clarified butter/pinch of turmeric and table spoon of ground oatmeal. Apply it as face mask and wash it off after 10 to 15 minutes.

The International Beauty Show was a great experience for many reasons, but one of the main reasons was because of the amazing people we got to talk to and share our products with. Beauty blogger Jessica, of the popular blog BeautyGnome, stopped by our booth and talked to us about her knowledge of organic products. We have her some samples of our Ayurvedic Soap5’s and this is the review that she gave us.
Please note that we ask all reviewers to be completely honest about our products. The more feedback we get the better we can make our products.
MaaDisha Soap5 Ayurvedic Organic Soap Review
We had such an exciting and amazing experience at this year’s International Beauty Show hosted at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. The show lasted 3 days, April 22-24, and was MaaDisha’s first major trade show!

IBS was crawling with beauty professionals and students learning about the newest products and offerings in their industry. The event served as a wonderful platform for us to educate visitors about our line of organic and Ayurvedic soaps and hair products.

Overall we had a wonderful response. One salon professional even stated that we were “the cleanest organic” she had seen at the show. Coming from someone that knows organic products, this was quite the compliment!

Our favorite part of the show would have to be having the opportunity to meet and talk to some amazing people. We hope everyone enjoyed learning more about our products. We urge you if you purchased product from us to visit our website and let us know what you think!
Please visit our Facebook page to see more photos from the show.
Here are three ways you can use argan oil!
Hair: Once out of the shower, towel dry your hair until damp. Put one or two pumps onto your fingers and spread the oil in your hair from root to tip. Blow dry your hair, or let air dry, and embrace the shine!
Nails: Clean nails. Combine lemon juice and argan oil into a small dish. Place your fingers in and let them soak for ten minutes. Your nails will come out shiny and strong.
Skin: Rub in small portions of argan oil on areas of the skin. This oil absorbs quickly leaving behind no oily residue, so you do not need a large amount. Smooth wrinkles, aid dry skin, or add to non-troubled areas for an added shine.
Many people do not know the large amount of chemicals that many common beauty products contain! Take the time to look over this inforgraphic and think about making a change.
